Andy - Pulled down misc e17 tree from cvs into my home directory and did ./autogen.sh + make as user, them su to root to make install. That does the trick. I do not have anything in /usr/local/lib/enlightenment/modules relating to engage, however, but its working. My opinion remains that it should not matter whether we build as root or user - this is going to cause issues with users. Can the autofoo stuff be changed? Nice to have this module back. Its a fine example of the kind of creative stuff I expect from the enlightenment crew. p.s. "should never build as root" advice is debatable. Using Tomcat but need to do more?
