looking at the output of "make install" it seems to only install items in

/root/.e/e/modules/engage

nothing goes in usrer's home directory (~/.e/e/modules/engage). I copied 
them there from root but still no joy.

did this. doesnt solve my problem of e seg faulting when loading engage 
module

thank you for the suggestions. for now I will make do with "ibar" module.
