Hi!
I have a problem and can't find a solution, maybe anyone of you can help
me find it.
I'm trying to build e17 on my Debian Sid box.
I checked out cvs, compiled and installed (in order): eet edb evas ecore
embryo edje.
Then I tried to build apps/e. autogen.sh works well, but during make I get
/usr/local/bin/edje_cc -v -id ../../data/init/images -fd
../../data/fonts -DLOWRES_PDA=1 -DMEDIUMRES_PDA=2 -DHIRES_PDA=3
-DSLOW_PC=4 -DMEDIUM_PC=5 -DFAST_PC=6 -DE17_PROFILE=SLOW_PC \
../../data/init/init.edc \
../../data/init/init.edj
...
/tmp/edje_cc.sma-tmp-Hj747n(1) : fatal error 100: cannot read from file:
"edje"
Compilation aborted.
1 Error.
/usr/local/bin/edje_cc: Warning. Compiling script code not clean.
make[4]: *** [init.edj] Error 255
I found in some thread about an ewl compilation problem some time ago a
hint from Raster that PREFIX/share/edje/include/edje.inc might be
missing, but that file exists (prefix is the default /usr/local), so
that's not my problem.
Others claimed that rebuilding all might solve the problem.
I tried it again and again (make distclean, ./autogen.sh, make, make
install, ldconfig), using different gcc versions (from 3.3 to 4.0),
different automake versions (first 1.9, then 1.7, the first gives a lot
of warnings, the latter doesn't), autoconf 2.5.
I tried it again and again, and from time to time I even uninstalled the
whole EFL (except imlib2 which I think I need for my e16 to keep working).
Any hints?
Thanks,
Oliver
