Hi, The -font-available-list command for e_remote now lists the fontconfig fonts. Fontconfig fonts are not supposed to be used in the font fallbacks.
I have an small page to explain about the font configuration in e17 here: http://shorne.homelinux.com/wordpress/?page_id=50 Also you can now use the font configuration dialog to configure all of your fonts. Just goto: Left Click Desktop Menu | Configuration | Configuration Panel | Fonts. In the font class configuration you can use the Fontconfig font names like Serif and Sans. That would give you Russian support by default then. You can also uncheck Enable Fallbacks if the fontconfig fonts work for you. -Stafford On Fri, 26 May 2006 18:19:30 +0400 Konovalov Alexey <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi > > I'm a bit confused with a new fonts system. > it looks like > $ enlightenment_remote -font-available-list > > prints all my system fonts, not only stated in search path. > > moreover playing with -font-fallback-prepend has no effect and i can > not switch to russian locale. > > Is there something wrong? > > > Best regards, > Alex > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > All the advantages of Linux Managed Hosting--Without the Cost and Risk! > Fully trained technicians.
