Thanks. There's just one problem, I don't know how to install x headers. I installed X.org by apt-gettin the packages from backports.org: "apt-get -t sarge-backports install x-window-server". I've just taken another look at the x11-xorg package list, but there are so many of them, I'm not sure which one to install: http://backports.org/debian/pool/main/x/xorg-x11/
Could you help me again by telling me which of the packages on the list I need
to install?

Thanks, Mikkel

I'm currently running Debian 3.1, kernel 2.6.16.16, NVIDIA drivers and
Gnome as window manager.

What can I do to fix this?

maybe try to install X headers? :)
