Hello again,

I have managed to fix my locale problems, partially. After doing some tests, appparently the non-enlightenment locale problems were caused by Entrance. Going back to GDM fixed the issue, but I still think it should be possible to hack around the problem. Perhaps having Entrance launch a script that loads a BASH with all the correct parameters, before launching E... I'll keep you informed on that. (E keeps being english-only, though...)

However, the strange behavior that is worrying me has to do with terminal colours:

> [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ xterm
> Warning: Color name "black" is not defined
> Warning: Color name "gray60" is not defined
> Warning: Cannot convert arguments to displayList function "foreground"
> Warning: Cannot convert string "foreground gray90;lines 1,-1,-1,-1,-1,1;foreground gray60;lines -1,0,0,0,0,-1" to type XawDisplayList

Which is the result of launching an xterm from a gnome-terminal.

This happened when I was using Entrance, but now that I have switched back to GDM it is worse -- xterm won't show, for example, white text anymore. Gnome-terminal, on the other hand, will work fine (and now, with all the accents and ñs and nifty characters).

Any hints on what may be happening?
