I'm using the rpms packaged by Didier for FC4 and the past two updates

It's a problem between the new font hinting and some broken freetype2
installations that where shipped with some distros. Open up the "Font
Display Hinting" configuration dialog and play with that until your
fonts look good again.
This also fixed my issue with e17 itself, however, it has no effect on
etk apps like extrackt .. any quick fix for those?
