libungif is installed. i mentioned gtk coz the documentation says that
gtk has to be greater than or eq to 1.2 but not 2
i m trying to use someone's code for bllur estimation and he uses
imlib so i need that to compile it

I'm guessing you don't have libungif installed ... why do you
mention gtk?
