Yes, this feature won't be available until X gets it's Composite
exention working well enough. The reason is that e17 modules all require
transparency. Transparency is needed because 1) for the translucent
effects and 2) anti-aliasing. Both of these are important for the thing
to not look really ugly.

e17 is only a windows manager which means that it doesn't 'know' what is
inside you windows, and it can't do transparancy on top of a window if
it doesn't know what is inside of that window.

Hopefully X's transparency will improve, but for now its quite buggy and
pretty slow as well.
