Thank you so much. That was EXACTLY what was missing. Thank you also
for the explanation. I have been googling for most of the afternoon
trying to figure that out.

To answer your question, I have a FreeBSD 5.4 system.

I have just compiled iconbar with no errors. Now onto the next, and
the next, and the next...
