Sorry for an off topic post, but it looks like all other
avenues are not working. At least with this, I can tell if my email
got through.

My basic problem -

Yahoo is now taking hours to get my mail through, so I want to change to
using gmail for all my mailing lists, including the E mailing lists.

The problem with E mailing lists -

The E mailing lists use mailman. Usually I can use the mailman web
interface to change the address I use, and I have so far done this with
the other mailman controlled mailing lists I am on. For E, that option
is not on the web page. This may be sourceforges fault, I haven't got
around to changing any other sourceforge mailing list I am on.

So I tried to create a new account, I got the "please confirm" email,
replied to it, and nothing happened. I tried just replying, replying
with all but the "confirm 123456789" line deleted, with GPG signing
turned off, and even from my other gmail account. All send the "confirm
please" email, but there is no response after I reply. After waiting
for I while, I also tried to log onto the web interface with the new
accounts, only to be told that the new accounts don't exist.

I tried this for all the E accounts.

Other mailman setups also include a "click here to confirm over the
web" link in the confirm email, but not the E mailing lists.

I even used my original yahoo account to get the help email from E's
mailman, with no response so far. That could just be yahoo delaying my
mail by hours though.

I note that there are other people are posting to these lists from
gmail. Did any of you suffer the same problems?

Of course, gmail is not without it's own problems. I won't go into
details except to say that my current work around involves the use of
two gmail accounts, a read only one and a write only one.

So, could the people with admin access to the E mailing lists please
add my two gmail accounts? Feel free to email me in private, using
both addresses, to confirm that they do in fact belong to me. I'll
reply with GPG signed emails using the same signature I use to sign
this.

Those two addresses are onefang and dvstwo, both at gmail.com. The
onefang address is the write only address, and dvstwo is the read only
address, but I can reconfigure that myself once the accounts are
created.

Thank you.
