Create icon hasn't moved, it should still be there (in the menu list
when clicking on the top corner). Alternatively, you can bring up the
create icon window using the command line:
e_util_eapp_edit app_name.eap
So for Firefox you'd do this:
e_util_eapp_edit firefox.eap
This will create an .eap file in the current working directory. You'll
need to move this file (if you created it somewhere else) to
~/.e/e/applications/all. More information can be found here:
thanks, but i guess i found out what happened. i was using morlenxus script, which installs to /opt/e17 by default. i did have it in my path so it should have been ok, but for some reason it was not. i installed to /usr now and everything works fine. the icon thing is back and no more command not found trouble either.
