Ok quick question that I can't find the answer to. I have xcompmgr and
transset-df with xbindkeys setup like the gentoo wiki says and like
you have it but I was wondering if you could set it up to autoset
transparency by mouse click instead of mouse wheel like kde uses? Or
any link to a webpage that has more help on the issue would be great.
Thank you!
The manual page for xbindkeys includes some examples, but doesn't list
all the keys (it says the list is under /usr/include/X11/keysym.h). I'm
sure you could use control + button to start a program:
(from xbindkeys man page)
# Control + mouse button 1 starts an xterm
"xterm" /(replace this cmd with something like "transset-df
--min 0.1 -p --dec 0.1")/
Control + b:1
but I dont know if you could do it with a key combination that the
application or window manager already intercepts.
