The main reason why I use Eterm instead of gnome-terminal or something else is speed. But perhaps it's an option to use a terminal library? The vte library[1] looks really great. But I'm not sure how vte is releated to GTK2. Perhaps it's easier to port vte to use EWL or edje than rewrite the complete Eterm code. Or does someone know a complete display independent terminal library? regards Andreas [1] http://developer.gnome.org/arch/gnome/widgets/vte.html ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ enlightenment-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-users
