Then that's the problem. As per lots of java discussions before - java has many
many problems under x when it comes to doing things correctly. it's not an E
problem - it's java behaving very badly. there is nothing much i can do. wede
done all we can and from now it's in sun's ball court to fix java to behave
well under x. it doesnt remotely behave correctly and attempts all sorts of
invalid hacks with invalid assumptions. i'm not a java developer or user thus
it barely bothers me. i have suggested many times that users who devel with
java or use it a lot file bug reports form "concerned users" about sun's java
implementation and the code hack they have. just read awt_wm.c one day for a
chuckle. well as a wm authour you'd have a damn good chuckle.
