Hi,
I'm new to enlightenment but not too new to Linux.
I first started Linux with KDE but I grew tired of it so I switched to
fluxbox. 3 weeks later I found Enlightenment and I'm here to stay :-).
While compiling eSounD I get a bunch of errors...
I know no C or C++ (just Python) so I have no idea what these errors mean:
bash-2.05b# make
/bin/sh ./libtool --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -Iesound-0.2.8
-I. -g -O2 -c esound-0.2.8/esddsp.c
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -Iesound-0.2.8 -I. -g -O2 -c -fPIC -DPIC
esound-0.2.8/esddsp.c -o esddsp.lo
esound-0.2.8/esddsp.c: In function `open':
esound-0.2.8/esddsp.c:172: error: `RTLD_NEXT' undeclared (first use in
this function)
esound-0.2.8/esddsp.c:172: error: (Each undeclared identifier is
reported only once
esound-0.2.8/esddsp.c:172: error: for each function it appears in.)
esound-0.2.8/esddsp.c: In function `ioctl':
esound-0.2.8/esddsp.c:373: error: `RTLD_NEXT' undeclared (first use in
this function)
esound-0.2.8/esddsp.c: In function `close':
esound-0.2.8/esddsp.c:392: error: `RTLD_NEXT' undeclared (first use in
this function)
make: *** [esddsp.lo] Error 1
Is there a patch for GCC (I'm using 3.4.3) or a patch for eSounD 0.2.8
that would fix this?
Thanks,
Joe
