First off, any module that does expose is going to be pretty graphics-intensive. So that's not really too much of a constraint. Second of all, it's going to be slow on fast machines, too, since apparently the only cards supported are the new radeons with firegl. Personally, I think it's not too much of a problem, because screenshot-faking is somewhat lame anyway. Expose loses most of its glamour if you can't see it updating. What's the point of getting a fake OSX effect if it's not useable as the OSX original? Just get a mac if you like it so much.
