It has to with end e17 > [Please specify one, e.g.: /usr/local/e17] In most scripts I've used of late (and Cisco IOS,) the presence of square brackets indicates a default value. I made that assumption. Can I request that you either add a default value, add some kind of sanity checking before you run rm -rf or get rid of the square brackets.
