Well looked around in ~/.enlightenment/menus stuff and do not see
anything odd except that only Dillo, ADSL-PPOE Conf., Firestarter are
the only apps listed. I have a ton of other stuff on this machine.
I could just delete the whole ~/.enlightenment dir. and start from
scratch I guess.
README.migrate -- I'll read it.
thank you

Greetings.
Anyone else having problems with seg.faults from left clk> applications> scroll mouse down> net. Anytime trying to display the net menu the ubiquitous nasty seg. fault dialog box populates the screen. Enlightenment always restarts instantly (with a bunch of extra epplets scattered about).
Running: Debian Testing 2.4.27-1-k7-smp | e-16.7.3 | imlib2 | debiane theme | GNOME | KDE | Lestif | XiG Summit Accelerated X-Server.. Al worked well until I updated to e-16.8 the other night, due to my inability to get many of the menu listed programs to launch

Any idea what is causing that? Maybe ~/.e16/menus/.../whatever.menu contains some clue?

, and lack of epplets

See notes in README.Migrate.

I reinstalled the older version. Now the issue with the net menu listings. Any ideas? I will say the e-16.8 is very noticeably smoother and faster apparent interaction time, but I guess that one has become addicted to having the epplet system monitor tools always in sight.
