I just picked up a second monitor and was curious as to what X arrangements others are using with e in the same situation - do you use twinview/xinerama? Are there other
options? Is it possible to get both monitors viewing the same enlightenment desktop simultaneously but moving around independantly?
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that. You can have it set up so that one monitor duplicates the other. Kinda a waste there.
I have a 22" viewsonic and a 19" samsung. presents one long desktop where the mouse simply moves from one monitor to the other. Xinerama is the magic there. E works great. I slap a couple of gnome panels on it and I'm good to go. The panels only span one monitor, which is what I prefer. We had a discussion about this the other day on a lug list, I tossed out a couple of screenshots. You can find them here:
