I'm trying to get my mouse working. I use FreeBSD w/ Enlightenment
running. When I load Enlightenment, the mouse jumps around but I have
no control over it. Now, my question: do i disable the mouse in
/etc/rc.conf and then enable it in XF86Config, or the other way
around? I'm just not quite sure. Setting the various axis settings has
not helped.
Any help is appreciated.

Actually, I've had that when XF86Config listed the wrong type of mouse protocol. For example, a wheel mouse needs IM/PS2, but if you have that in there with a regular mouse, it'll wig out. I'm not sure if it works that way vice versa.
