Hi, i had compiled fine evidence in before installed system debianPPC on ibook g3,
as I reinstalled few weeks ago, i started to do with e17 again and got all to work
fine
except few days ago i tried again with evidence and now i can't compile fine. the
error is that:
.. . . .ft-1.0.so /usr/lib/libpangox-1.0.so /usr/lib/libpango-1.0.so
/usr/lib/libgobject-2.0.so /usr/lib/libgmodule-2.0.so
-ldl /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so -Wl,--rpath -Wl,/usr/local/lib -Wl,--rpath
-Wl,/usr/local/lib
evidence-util.o(.text+0x18bc): In function `eiconv':

In debianppc there is no libiconv package and i had it installed from last source from
the web for other apps i compiled, all e17 libs are fine, entrance, engage or entice
also ...
so, installed or not that libiconv, evidence still gets this error on my ibook. don't
know if it a bug or something to do with my libs again, and sorry if this is not where
to place that.
i can tell it runned before and compiled fine on befores installed SO (got
screenshots to prove it ;), and nearly all i had before installed in, I have it now
thanks to dpkg --set-selections, but keeps on error.

Thanks
