I tend to just create a file .Xclients in my home dir, (chmod +x) with "exec enlightenment" as the only line in it. If you want apps started before the wm, add lines such as "xterm &" at the top.

I apologise for the simplicity of this question, but having scoured the website and read the FAQ there is one simple thing that I don't yet understand.
Exactly HOW do I run Enlightenment?
I have downloaded and built the sources (on Fedora Core 1). I already have KDE 3.2.1 (nice, but very slow) and XFCE4 (nice but perhaps too simplistic)
What do I need to do to get E running?
