I've tried to build e16.7 and everything seems to go ok during the whole
process without any noticeable errors. Although, when starting
enlightenment it gives an error that the default theme is corrupted. Upon further inspection there are no themes in the
/usr/local/enlightenment/themes directory. Is this an error on my
part? Thanks for your help.

See http://www.mail-archive.com/enlightenment-devel%40lists.sourceforge.net/msg01621.html

As things are now you can check out e16/ethemes and build them
separately. Same thing with e16/edox-data - the online help.

I think that it should also be possible just to create the softlink
/usr/local/enlightenment/themes/DEFAULT pointing to some theme
directory.

So far the distribution split has been a bit experimental. I left the
theme/dox stuff in e16/e/... so it would be easy to revert to the old
monolithic distribution scheme in case there were massive objections :)
