I suggest you find out where the shared libraries that came with your
libpng 1.2.5 headers are, and point LD_LIBRARY_PATH in that
direction. Alternatively, if you don't *need* libpng-1.0.12, get
libpng-1.2.5 and install it over libpng-10.12 .n
