Hi everyone
i've downloaded enlightenment-0.16.6.tar.gz untarred it and tried to
configure with

#./configure --enable-sound --enable-upgrade --enable-hints-gnome
--enable-hints-kde --enable-zoom --with-x

then i get this error:

ERROR: Enlightenment needs a system with libttf.so (freetype).
configure: error: Fatal Error: no FreeType detected.

first i compiled from freetype-2.1.5.tar.bz2 package.Nothing changed so i
removed it and installed freetype-2.1.6-i486-1rob.tgz package. I still get
the same error. I'm stuck now. Am i installing a wrong package or is there
a problem with my paths? i ran ldconfig by the way. My system is
slackware9.1 with 2.4.22-ac4 kernel which i compiled.
Thank you.
