Sorry for the very slow reply. Knowing that the autoconf installation
ought to work, I went back and looked a little harder at those compile
errors, and realised I was missing some libs <slinks off with tail
between legs>. Perhaps the CVS logs could be changed to make it clear
that the autogen.sh script does work?
It now compiles fine. Since that worked, I'm hopeful there's a way to
get the RPM build using the epplets.spec file to work. I tried:
make dist
rpm -bb epplets.spec
which almost works, but fails at the last step with the errors listed
below. The "epplets-0.7-0.5" in the first line looks odd to me...?
