I use the Ganymede theme, and I guess the functionality you're 
mentioning can be accomplished through the "Remember" dialogue. The 
point is that I don't want to do this with every single application I'm 
using, and every single application I might use in the future. Is it 
possible to make e use my favorite border style as default?

Here is a quick one:
