[e-users] enlightenment wont start with X windows

hello, i have a ps2 linux kit (similar to RH 5.x) and i just compiled and 
installed enlightenment and edited my /.xinit.d/session file.  whenever i 
start X, all i get is an xterm on a black background (no window manager).

here is my .xsession-errors file:
Reading /etc/X11/xinit/lang.d/en
Starting Xclients
Wrong IM is specified in /home/bob/.xinit.d/xim
Wrong session name is specified in /home/bob/.xinit.d/session
Starting xterm
here is my xim file:
None
here is my session file:
#wmaker
exec /usr/local/enlightenment/bin/enlightenment
(i commented out the window maker bit, that was put in there by sdr)
any help would be appreciated.
