I run mandrake 9.1 so it was the oo packages that came with that, I think it's version 1.0.2.  I've never had it crash.  It takes forever and a day to open, but that's the only complaint I've ever had with it. Once it's open, it works great.  I use it for all my school stuff (still in college here) and I've never had a problem with it crashing or having problems reading MS files.

p.s. thanks to curtis for the "return" tip on the menus, it worked great!  I guess I had just never noticed that before in the examples I was going off of.

I have a couple questions about some menu configuration. I have created
a set of menus for enlightemnent that contain the programs I want in
them, however, every now and then, I'll add a program, and it won't
work. This is what a couple of my menus look like:
(file.menu)
"Welcome"
"Internet" NULL menu "internet.menu"
"Office" NULL menu "office.menu"
"Utilities" NULL menu "util.menu"
"Multimedia" NULL menu "multimedia.menu"
"School Stuff" NULL menu "school.menu"
"Eterm" NULL exec "Eterm -g 100x40+250+10 --trans --tint 0x333333 -x
--nomenu"
"Emacs" null exec "emacs-21.2.93"
"Emelfm Home" null exec "emelfm"
"Emelfm Windows" null exec "emelfm /mnt/windows"
"Restart Enlightenment" NULL exec "eesh -e restart"
"Log Out" NULL exec "eesh -e exit"

(office.menu)
"Office"
"OO Writer" null exec "oowriter"
"OO Calc" null exec "oocalc"
"OO Math" null exec "oomath"
"OO Presentations" null exec "ooimpress"
"CBB" null exec "cbb"

(internet.menu)
"Internet"
"Firebird Browser" NULL exec "MozillaFirebird"
"Thunderbird Email" NULL exec "thunderbird"
"Gnome FTP" null exec "gftp"
"GAIM" null exec "gaim"

In the first menu, everything works fine except the command to exit
enlightenment. If I go to an eterm and type in the exact same command,
it works fine, but it does nothing when I click on it from the menu.
The even stranger part is that the restart command DOES work from the menu.
In addition to that, in the office menu, cbb does nothing, and in the
Internet menu, gaim does nothing. Again, both of these will run the
programs just fine when typed into a terminal. Is there something I'm
missing on the menu configuration? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nathan
