[e-users] Debian menus

Sorry if this has been covered, but I just started using E in Libranet 
linux (Debian) and when I open the Debian menu option from the middle 
button and descend to an actual menu containing programs, the menu 
radically scrools off the top of the screen and disappears! Is there a 
fix? or am I just stuck without my debian menu.
