Hi all, I have an Apple Ti Powerbook running Debian stable with E16 What I wish to do is setup my key bindings to use the Apple key (the one with the funny curly shape) in conjunction with the arrow keys for moving around my 4 virtual desktops.
I have edited .enlightenment/keybindings.cfg before to set up a few other keys that I wanted to change the behaviour of but there is no mention there of anything like __APPLE_KEY similar to __WINDOWS_KEY I have used e16keyedit and its change button to ascertain that the apple key reports itself to e16keyedit as META_L key so I can set this as the key but I dont want that - I need the META_L key to be the modifier key and to use up/down/left/right keys to move around. So questions are: 1. I tried adding __META_L to the keybindings.cfg but it didnt work. why ??? 2. Perhaps I can edit the file that e16keyedit changes directly myself but what file does that application change? A search of the archives didnt show anyone with a similar problem but lots must use apples and E any help appreciated.
