Patch Set 9: Hi, I am sorry, but I am limited in time these days. I would like to ask why the alternative of queue was selected instead of periodic update. All we need is a snapshot of sessions once in interval into database, if there were 10000000 packets came from host in 5 seconds, we should update it once. So we just need to keep timestamp within each session of last flushed, and each interval flush into datbase these that receive > flush. This should solve all, including reloading previous run sessions into memory when starting up, even if adding them as now() into the sessions. If I understand the current implementation during brief review, I think the above is lower load and simpler.
