Patch Set 2:

Not sure how I can take ownership in gerrit of a patch, maybe easier if Einav 
acks and merges it. As for the discussion, before I started work on all of this 
we had extensive discussions and there is even a wiki page [1]. The wiki page 
outlines the issues we are trying to solve, there are basically 2 issues we are 
trying to solve.

 1. Do a refresh when an action completes (note this doesn't always work on 
actions that take some time to complete and that return from the back-end 
immediately, which is why we have 2.
 2. Do a refresh when a NEW event is detected, this event can be generated from 
anywhere, not necessarily the current user.
