Thanks, Francisco. That’s really useful input. Based on the additional feedback from you and Gabi, I feel the WGLC can be justifiably closed and the shepherd write-up generated.

We have developed some POC implementations of EAP-EDHOC, including an EAP-Peer implementation in WPA_Supplicant, an EAP-Server implementation in HostAP and an EAP-Server implementation in FreeRADIUS. We also had a small interoperability test with another implementation from the University of Oviedo during the 2024 Paris Hackathon on Lightweight IoT Security, organized by the LAKE working group (https://parishackathon.lakewg.org/). Our implementation (University of Murcia) is available and can be tested at: https://gitlab.com/franciscolopezg/eap-edhoc-testbed.git. This repository includes some proof-of-concept implementations of the EAP-EDHOC method, a Dockerized test environment, and instructions to reproduce the tests. Finally, if of interest to the community, our paper on EAP-EDHOC, which includes performance results, has just been published: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0920548925000662. It will be freely available as open access in the coming days. As described in the paper, the method was also deployed in a real Wi-Fi scenario using a physical access point. Best regards, Francisco. For others who have not yet responded, please do speak up if you support the publication of this draft. Support has been rather sparse. Solid reviews and reports of implementation would really help. I’ve not closed the WGLC because while there are no indications that anyone is against the draft, there have only been a very small handful of replies in favor. I know it’s EMU, so we are small in number, but it would be good to have stronger consensus to demonstrate to the IESG that publication is merited. So, if you’ve got something to say, please say it now. Thank you, everyone. -Peter (and Joe) On 7/13/25, 1:16 AM, "GABRIEL LOPEZ MILLAN" <[email protected]> wrote: Hi. Sorry for the late response. I have reviewed this document several times and (after Marco's accurate review) I think it is ready. Best regards, Gabi. It is based on a secure SIGMA protocol and the only drawback is that since it's client initiated there's throw-away EAP message before SUCCESS. Oh well, a small price to pay. I'm curious whether there have been interoperable implementations that support fragmentation/reassembly. But to answer the question, I support advancement of this I-D and think it's stable. regards, Dan. The document was last updated earlier this month but appears fairly stable, with only small changes in the last version. Please provide your input on this document within the next two weeks (by 9 July 2025) so that we can discuss it during the upcoming meeting in Madrid.
