Exactly, I chose ob-emacs-lisp just to keep things simple at the
start. I’ve actually know ox-html quite well. I attempted a full
rewrite, though I only finished about half of it.

Good to know, thanks. I’ll check it out. I'll also keep an eye out for
any other ox-html related issues down the road.
