While the updated elrepo-release package does contain the new key, the
/etc/yum.repos.d/elrepo.repo file that it installs still only points at the old
one.

Subject: [elrepo] New RPM signing key for elrepo.org packages

Warning: External Sender - do not click links or open attachments unless you
recognize the sender and know the content is safe.

The ElRepo Project has released a new RPM signing key which will be used
to sign all elrepo packages moving forward.

The new public key is available for download and immediate use here:

https://www.elrepo.org/RPM-GPG-KEY-v2-elrepo.org

$ gpg --list-keys --fingerprint 'elrepo.org (RPM Signing Key v2 for
elrepo.org) <[email protected]>'
pub   4096R/EAA31D4A 2025-01-05
       Key fingerprint = B8A7 5587 4DA2 40C9 DAC4  E715 5160 0989 EAA3 1D4A
uid                  elrepo.org (RPM Signing Key v2 for elrepo.org)
<[email protected]>
sub   4096R/D3ECCB2A 2025-01-05

The new key was required for compatibility with the upcoming el10 release:

https://elrepo.org/bugs/view.php?id=1478

An updated elrepo-release package containing the new key should be
available on mirror sites later today.

Thank you,

Phil
