Hi. I've always used screen readers. In this case, I press the down arrow with my thumb and my middle finger is on the keypad 5. For me, down arrow keypad 5 always reads the link with focus.
I hate numbering links and don't use that option.
I also don't like the idea of making a web page look different from what a
sighted user gets.
