Didn't see these when I skimmed the docs: % On MediaWiki "recent changes" pages like:
http://wiki.lspace.org/wiki/Special:Recentchanges elinks tends to skip over some links (when I use "down arrow" for "next link"). How to fix this? Does elinks have multiple HTML parsing modes like lynx does? Lynx has things like SWITCH_DTD and SOFT_DQUOTES that affect how HTML is parsed. Usually, switching modes in lynx fixes any "broken" pages. % Can I bind multiple keystrokes? I want "ctrl-x ctrl-e" in a textarea to bring up my external editor, just like it does in Lynx. % Can I rename my tabs? Naming them after the page title isn't always great. % I created a 'rand' protocol that takes me to '%c/../Special:Random' (random page on some MediaWikis). Can I hotlink this to a single keystroke? I realize "grand<ENTER>" isn't much to type (or even "g<UP><ENTER>" if I'm doing it many times), but I'm lazy. % I edited the key-map so that '1' = "Move to the end of the document" and '7' = "Move to the start of the document", but these don't work because typing 1 gives me "Keyboard prefix: 1". How turn of "keyboard prefix"? % I want <TAB> in a textentry box to move to the next form field. How can I do this? % Can I make 'ctrl-g' do the same thing as 'Cancel' on menus? % Can elinks handle RSS feeds? (doesn't seem to, but I wasn't sure) % Are there %-escapes other than %c and %s in protocols? I want a protocol for "edit this page" when on a MediaWiki. Something like "%server-of-current-URL/index.php?title=%path-of-current-URL&action=edit" % I've tweaked Lynx to perma-cache a copy of a document when I bookmark it (so I'll always have a local copy). Where does elinks store the source of the currently viewed documents? Can I hack it so that "add bookmark" also saves the source of the current page somewhere? % Can I bind "(" and ")" to be 10 times INSERT/DELETE (ie, scroll 10 lines or 20 lines or whatever-- mimicking Lynx's "half page scroll" function)? % I accidentally deleted some existing protocols (I had 'd'elete selected instead of 'i'nformation). Where can I get back the complete list? -- We're just a Bunch Of Regular Guys, a collective group that's trying to understand and assimilate technology. We feel that resistance to new ideas and technology is unwise and ultimately futile. _______________________________________________ elinks-users mailing list [email protected] http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/elinks-users
