Fellow Crafters; When taking digital photos of boards etc you need a camera that will focus closer that 1 foot. Not an expensive camera, just one that will focus close. I use a Nikon coolpix 950. It's an old, smallish camera, that cost about 1k new and can be had for a little over $100 ebay. I'm sure there are other cameras that will do the job; test them before buying.
Photos of boards require detail; they must be sharp.. or they won't tell the story you want to tell.
