I completed my SSB the other day, and listened around on 80 abit. Two
guys talking to each other 40+ over S9. They new they were 40 over S9
because they had 20 dB attenuators, and when they kicked them out they
were still S9. They were running amps (did not catch the complete
wattage) + full power + attenuators. I was dumbfounded. And I got the
impression they lived near each other.
I tried out the SSB with a friend in the area, and he said he had me
full scale and I was running 6w.
