Keith, I suggest you get Walter Maxwells book Reflections II and read it cover to cover a few times. It takes time to grasp all the good antenna info he has in there. But, it corrects the many myths most hams have heard. The tuner really tunes your line and antenna as a system!
Reflections II can be ordered from the World Radio website, as I recall.
