Eckhart, When I sold my KPA500/KAT500, I reset them to the factory settings using the Utility. That way the new owner started with the units as if they had bought them new as opposed to my station's peculiarities. You may want to reset the KAT500 because it still carries the previous owner's bin memories until it relearns the bands.
