I use Dow Corning 5 Compound dielectric grease on all of my outside coax
connectors, just a little pinky size on the SO239 or F connector.
However I use it to prevent any moisture contamination but I suppose it
could inhibit any dissimilar metal corrosion or oxidation. Not sure if
there would be any benefit for your application though plus it's just a
tad messy. Since you have an intermittent problem I suppose you could
try it and see what happens (or doesn't happen.)

Subject: [Elecraft] TMP connectors
----snip----- So I popped
the top and twisted all of the TMP connectors that I could reach, powered
it up and it has been working fine again.
My question to the group is: Has anyone ever gone to the trouble of
treating all of those pesky little connectors with some kind of dialectric
grease to keep them from this kind of behavior? ----snip----
