When I loaned my K3 to my club for Field Day (and I did this for several years) I created a custom config just for Field Day. It had a number of custom settings, like equalizer set-ups for contesting, allowed bands, etc. Everything else that I didn't want anyone changing was locked out in the config. That way, nobody could break anything. And, if they did, I had the K3 utility and a copy of the config file on the laptop we were using, so it took all of 2 minutes to restore and be back in business.
Hope this helps. Have a great Field Day! 73 de, Ian, NV4C <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail> Virus-free.www.avast.com <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail> <#DAB4FAD8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2> On Fri, May 16, 2025 at 2:14 PM <[email protected]> wrote: > We are getting ready for Field Day and once again all stations will be > Elecraft K3 or K3s.
