I have a 15 year old K3 (SN 4340) that I bought a K103B to upgrade to
USB connection. But I am keeping the K103A as backup.
I have updated most of my K3 to almost K3S: new Synth boards and updated
filter to enable use on 630m.
But losing source of replacements of K3 components probably would result
in getting an Icom vs K4 at my age (80+).
My primary use is for eme and have the dual-Rx for adaptive polarity
reception using MAP65. Pretty much can be replaced by modern SDR's
these days.
I also have the KX3 and KXPA100.
