To follow on from my previous post" Making RF frequency detection work at 1 W instead of 4 W min could likely be achieved by changing the values of C44 and C42 in the RF sampler that feeds U2A. However, that will not make full search tune work.
Full search tune requires a minimum level of RF input to set Vfwd above threshold. Increasing the levels of Vrfl and Vfwd may be possible by changing the ratios of R15/R16 and R9/R10 or it may require changing T1 and T2.
