I agree with Rick on this one. There are three antenna ports on the KAT500, and 
four (I believe) on the K4. Don’t confuse KAT500 Antenna 2 with K4 Antenna 2, 
they are not the same port.
Only one output from the K4 goes to the KPA500 and then to the KAT500. If the 
K4 has Antenna 2 selected, and the KPA is connected to Antenna 1, then the KPA 
will see no power in.
With no power in, there will be no power out. But the antenna connected to K4 
Antenna 2 will see power.

You might want to draw a diagram showing the station components (K4, KPA500 and 
KAT500), add which control program handles each, then post it to remind you 
what will
happen when you select various ports.
