A number of years ago I had a vertical in the woods in my back yard. Between the woods and the house was 30 feet of grass. I buried my coax for that stretch in PVC under the grass and into the house. Once in the woods the coax was exposed. The antenna system worked great until I then built a 60 foot tower.
