Hi all I am new to openedx community. I successfully installed the edx platform and run it well. But I noticed that when I need to develop and make code changes, I need to restart the service (i.e. lms) to preview the updates and it could take up to 60 seconds to load again after restarting. Developing and editing by this way is a pain in neck.
I moved to install DevStack using docker. I successfully installed it and faced two problems : 1- I can not open files of each docker service via a good IDE to edit. 2 - Even if I used the terminal to edit for example a template file, I need to restart the docker again. !! Really I need someone to reach me the way to develop and edit on openedx in the right way without needing to edit/restart and how to integrate with a good IDE to help me in coding. *Notice*: I have a good experience with python programming but never developed web apps with it.
